Payment Scheme

From June 1st 2006 Corsham ASC executive committee decided to implement a new payment scheme for the Squad swimming session. This will aid administration and make it easier for parents. Three schemes will be implemented and a mixture of these schemes can be used to suit your family needs. Moving to a system which reduces cash payments brings the Club into line with virtually every other leisure and community related sports.

Scheme 1 - Monthly standing orders

These would come directly from the member’s bank account into the Clubs. Once set up, they would remain in force until the member resigned, changed their requirements or decided to switch to another payment method. In order for this scheme to be viable it was agreed that members had to be given a certain amount of “free” water time to account for pool closures and holidays. However, the income into the Club would remain much as it is now. Members would be allowed to choose a range of monthly options, which would reflect the amount of sessions they expected to attend. Swimmers will have to commit to a minimum of 6 months to enjoy the benefits of this scheme

The three options will be:

Gold Card - This is for those who regularly attend 3 squad sessions per week at Corsham and are invited to both sessions at Bath. This will give unlimited access to Club water time and would only suit senior squad members who turn up regularly for sessions.

The cost of this card will be £45 per month by direct debit

Silver Card - For senior squad members, attending four Corsham sessions per week, including the invited Club night on Wednesday. It does not include Bath sessions.

The cost of this card will be £33 per month by direct debit

Bronze Card - For Senior & Junior squad members swimming three sessions per week at Corsham. The three nights have to be pre identified and if swimming on the other night either a pre paid card needs to be used or £3 has to be paid.

The cost of this card will be £25 per month by direct debit

Scheme 2 - Pre-paid cards

These cards can be purchased by completing an order form obtainable from our website or from Megan Jones. Could people requiring a pre-payment card e-mail Megan at megansyellowcellar@hotmail.com with the subject title "Pre-payment card". Please allow a week for the forms to be processed

The cards are available to all squad swimmers, they are available for Corsham and Bath.

The Corsham Cards :

The Bath Cards :

These cards have no time limit and may be used by individuals or families. They must, however, be produced before each session and marked off accordingly. Anyone attending without their card will be charged a £3 entrance fee before being allowed to swim.

When the swimmer purchases their first card, there will be an additional charge of 50p to cover the cost of a water resistant plastic wallet.

Scheme 3 - Pay as-you-swim

Swimmers will still be able pay cash for each individual session, but the cost will increase to £3 per session for Corsham and £3.50 for Bath.

Signing in

All swimmers will be required to sign in and present their cards or make a payment. This change in procedure is for the swimmers own safety; it also ensures Corsham ASC carries out correct procedure under its’ Health and Safety policy.

AS OF MAY 1 st 2006 SWIMMERS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SWIM UNLESS THEY HAVE PAID AND SIGNED IN. ANYONE IN THE POOL WHO HAS NOT PAID OR SIGNED IN WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.

WE ASK PARENTS FOR THEIR SUPPORT, AS THE SWIMMERS ARE NOT INSURED UNLESS THEY HAVE PAID.
