Introduction

Corsham ASC was formed in 1974. 

Over the years it has provided the opportunity for local youngsters to learn to swim and train in the relaxed atmosphere of the Springfield leisure centre. Our coaches and officials take a pride in ensuring that all members are given every opportunity to reach their fullest potential. 

Those first tentative width sessions of flailing arms and swallowing “gallons” of the pool eventually lead many of our younger swimmers to achieving places in the Club’s junior and senior squads. Beyond there, many then go on to represent the Club in various league competitions and galas. A significant number of our swimmers will also achieve County standards, and some go on to achieve Regional or National standards. 

Corsham ASC is also one of the participating clubs which feed into the Aquae Sulis Performance Swimming programme. More details of which can be found here.
