Another Master-ful display

Round 2 of the Wiltshire County Masters took place at the Link Centre on 5th June and despite their numbers being down on the last round, Corsham Masters fought hard and had fun.  4 events on the night - 100 back, 50 fly, 25 free and 100 breast.  Only four of us there, so person by person....

Making her debut, Sarah Lewis probably sufferred from swimming in a slow heat in her fly.

Heather Knight entered all 4 races and seemed to really enjoy the challenge of the 100 Breast.  Two bronze medals won in a very competitive age group.

Stuart Gibbs took 1 silver and 2 bronze medals and narrowly missed out on a fourth in the 100 breast (well, what do you expect???)

But, once again, the star of the evening was Nikki Harris who not only won her 3 races, but set county records for her age group in all 3.  An amazing performance, and as she pointed out, she now has the fastest record in the 25 free across all age groups (even the younger ones!)

Next round is on 2nd October in Salisbury and I hope that more swimmers will be able to return from injury and holiday and/or attend.
