Video Analysis at Training Sessions

By Mike Lang - Posted on 10 November 2009

To assist in developing stroke technique the swimming coaches at Corsham ASC would like to take videos of swimmers, both above and under the water. The video recording will only be used during training sessions and once it has served its purpose it will be destroyed.
In accordance with ASA policy we need your consent in order for your child to be videoed and would therefore ask you to complete and return the form attached. If you would like to attend the videoing please speak to the coaches to find out when your child is likely to be videoed. Normal contacts are Alan McRae (Head Coach) and Linda Lias (Welfare Officer)

Hi, We tested the camera last Monday and it proved very effective. Alan found it much easier analysing technique when the swimmer could immediately see their stroke played back to them. It will take time to work through every swimmer so please be patient!!
